Annie Baxendale (Nee) Mccormack

Annie ran The Royal Hotel pub on town street in Armley Leeds she had ran the pub for many years. She
had a large family of Sons, Daughters, in laws Grandchildren and a Greatgrand child. She was a very
well known woman and loved by many. She was very fair but never took no rubbish from anyone for a
little woman she could handle herself very well. The Royal will miss her deeply especially her broad
Scottish accent shouting across the Pub at people to behave and shoutin DAAARREN for him to turn the
music off at the end of the night.

Sadly Just befor xmas Annie was diagnosed with cancer and was told she didnt have very long to live.
From then on she gradually deterioated and it was only a matter of time. She proposed to Merv her
partner of many years and they got married a week before she actually died. It was a very sad day
and happy day at the same time. It was the 1st time many people had seen her since she was taken
ill. The Pub was packed and she had a good turn out for the Wedding Annie looked lovely in her
Wedding dress with pretty little flowers in her hair, but she just didnt look like the Annie
everyone Loved and knew.

Cancer finaly took her life a week after she had got married as much as it hurt everyone it was a
blessing too because she is now out of pain and there is no more suffering for her.

Annie I would like to say on behalf of everyone from the Royal you was a great woman and will be
truely missed. You will forever in our hearts. Our love and condolences to all your family. Love
